GARTH JESTLEY

Executive Director Emeritus

Garth served four years ended December 2017 as Executive Director responsible for all LeaderImpact operations in Canada and internationally. He continues to be involved voluntarily in various facets of LeaderImpact.

Over more than 40 years in the financial services sector, Garth held senior roles in investment management, venture capital, corporate banking, international project financing, private debt placement and investment banking. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and earned an MBA (Richard Ivey School of Business) and a BSc (University of British Columbia).

Prior to joining Middlefield in 1985, Garth served as Vice President of Citibank and Bank of Montreal. At Middlefield, an investment management firm, he spent over twenty-five years in various senior roles including President and CEO of Middlefield Capital Corporation. Over the years, he served on the boards of many Middlefield companies as well as companies in which funds managed by Middlefield were investors.

Following his retirement from Middlefield in January 2013, Garth completed the Six Week Business Program at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries) at the University of Oxford, England. He currently serves on the board of directors of two Christian organizations.

Garth and his wife Mary are involved in various church leadership roles, including ministering and speaking in Canada and internationally. They put a high priority on family and, in particular, enjoy spending time with their four grown children, spouses and grandchildren.
