Asuncion 2025

Have you ever travelled to South America? How about Paraguay? We realized again that Asuncion is a long way from Canada, but it struck me again how similar this city feels to cities we know in Canada. We discovered that April provided a very comfortable climate for our stay in Asuncion, with overnight temperatures around 15 °c and daytime temperatures around 25 °c. We experienced a vibrant, progressive culture that made us feel welcome.

Our team of 14 quickly bonded in our mission to share our collective personal stories. The local team was highly motivated to utilize this unique opportunity to feature a diverse group of marketplace leaders from Canada to open the doors to many businesses and schools. In addition to delivering value for each audience in the professional dimension, our fundamental purpose is to share our personal faith stories. One of our stated goals is for everyone on our team to share their faith story at least 3 times in various events throughout the week.

We are very thankful for our partners in Asuncion who were bold in challenging many business managers and owners to open the doors for our speakers to not only have a chance to share their faith stories, but also share the gospel message in almost every one of the 33 events completed during our week in Asuncion. The result was a powerful impact on the lives of hundreds of men and women who made up our audience. We are thankful for every opportunity to influence positive change in Asuncion, and more importantly, we give glory to God for every person who responded to our invitations to begin or renew a personal relationship with Jesus!
