Jean Stoffer Event Calgary

LeaderImpact Calgary celebrated a successful evening event with Jean Stoffer and an amazing group of panellists, along with our very own Lisa Peters. The idea to bring in Jean Stoffer came from Airdrie Co-Lead Kim Purvis, who also led the event committee, which included Rachel Gammell, Deb Osiowy and Laurie Champagne.  

Jean is a Christian business owner from Michigan who stars in a TV show on the Magnolia Network and is a sought-after speaker. The evening was built around the title “Designing your Legacy by Faith” and started with a VIP Event which allowed our guests to connect with Jean, our panellists and other guests over charcuterie, wine and water on the mezzanine level of the auditorium at the Calgary Downtown library. The VIP event transitioned into the main event with Jean sharing her personal stories around her family, business and faith that left us inspired. 

After a short break, the panel session started, moderated by Lisa Peters with panellists Jean, Andy Friesen, Dan Lafflaar, Jacqueline Clements and Cindy Klassen. The questions asked created much conversation, and Lisa was able to engage with each panellist. It was impossible to come away from it without being inspired. Over 100 people attended, many of them new to LeaderImpact. To date, over 10 people have indicated interest in joining LeaderImpact.  

We had great sponsors, consisting of a mix of LeaderImpact member businesses and new businesses that wanted to partner with us and be a part of the evening. An event of this size and calibre could not have been as successful as it was without amazing volunteers, and we are blessed with amazing people willing to do what it takes to move the ministry and mission of LeaderImpact forward.
